Mimic of the Deep is Live!

A tribute to the mimic octopus.
The master of illusion, hiding what is beneath its visage.

The 29th Ludum Dare 48-hour game-creation event has just ended and Hellscape’s entry is Mimic of the Deep.
The theme this time is “Beneath the Surface”.

Play as an octopus capable of disguising itself to surprise prey and scare predators.

Instructions

  • Move: Arrow Keys
  • Turn off mimic: 1 (move faster)
  • Mimic Kelp: 2 (don’t scare food)
  • Mimic Lion Fish: 3 (scare big fish)
  • You are getting hungry
  • Eat small fish
  • Avoid big fish
  • Survive as long as you can
